Hyper.Net publication metadata
Hyper.Net publishes a set of metadata into each topic belonging to a publication. This metadata is consistent across all publications and content types and is not affected by custom document metadata you may create and field map for specific content types. Although Hyper.Net's publication metadata is primarily used to organize published content within SharePoint, you can use it in your applications as needed:

Property
Content type
Description

Hyper.Net Topic
The display title of the publication. E.g.: Content is the King!
DOC_HEADING

DOC_NUMBER
Hyper.Net Topic
A hierarchical number that describes a topic's position within its publication. E.g.: if there are 10 topics in the publication and the 7th topic has 3 subtopics then DOC_NUMBER for the last subtopic of the 7th topic would be 7.3. The DOC_NUMBER for the last topic of the publication would be 10.
