Configuring metadata mapping for custom properties
If you have document metadata you would like to publish into a publication so that it is available for use within your WCMS application, the following actions are required:

Make sure the property is defined on your custom content type.

Add the property to the content type Hyper.Net Topic.
|
|

Add the property to the Hyper.Net schema associated with the document type profile in Hyper.Net.

Tip
|
In unusual situations, it may be necessary to map a document metadata property into a publication metadata property. In this case it is not necessary to add the metadata to a Hyper.Net schema. Instead, it is necessary to modify the base field mapping definitions maintained for Hyper.Net's standard publication metadata set.
