Hyper.Net SharePoint Edition Getting Started Guide
Getting a list of publications
One of the most powerful concepts in SharePoint is its ability to select lists of just about anything. This is extremely useful when you have a large set of Hyper.Net-created publications because they are metadata-rich. For the sake of example, let's say we must meet a requirement to display PDF files on the sales department's Welcome Page. Specifically we want to display a list of all publications that have the metadata Division = Sales and that have an associated PDF file. We wish to display the PDFs in the list. When the user clicks, the PDF opens. Sales publications not having a PDF file are not displayed.
